Who we Are
Fifteen years ago, BCBA and early intervention specialist Nicki Salfer founded Learning Tree with the vision of supporting children with extra needs at school and home. With her husband, clinical psychologist Dr. Mordechai Salfer, they grew Learning Tree into one of the leading providers of assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic services for children on the Autism spectrum, as well as students with other academic and social-emotional challenges.
Learning Tree is a one-stop provider that offers a full spectrum of services. The diagnosis is only the beginning; in tandem with our assessment team, providers follow through with recommendations, and coordinate with school personnel, administration, and family members to ensure the child’s success. Our approach is data-driven and focused on making positive changes, taking care of the whole child by giving them tools for success at school and home.
Since our founding, Learning Tree has been recognized for our innovative approach, which places the full spectrum of needs and learning styles of each child first. We believe that a child is more than their diagnosis.
